What I offer isn’t traditional portrait photography.

It’s not about showing up to a park or studio and smiling for the camera. This is not just a photo session — it’s a collaboration, a conversation, a quiet unravelling of who you are and the legacy you want to leave behind. Every session I create is a visual story, thoughtfully styled, intentionally lit, loosely themed, and deeply personal. Wardrobe, location, timing, light, and emotion — all of it matters. Because this is story work. Legacy work. Art.

If you're here, I want you to know: this isn’t about being photogenic. It’s about being willing — willing to be seen, to slow down, to trust the process. My work isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. This kind of art takes time. It asks for depth. But if something in you whispers yes to this…

Then I would be honoured to create with you.

The Curation.

After the session, I take time to sit with your story — to sift through the images and moments that hold the most soul. This is a quiet, intentional part of the process. I look for what feels like you — not just visually, but emotionally. What you’ll receive is a curated gallery or short film that reflects your session with honesty and depth. While each package includes a guaranteed minimum number of images, I never hold back when something beautiful shows up. Some sessions unfold in a way that offers more than expected, and when they do, I include everything that belongs to the story.

It’s important to know: I approach your images as artwork, not traditional portraiture. Some frames may be softly blurred, intentionally cropped, or processed with a storytelling eye. Clean, polished images will absolutely be part of your gallery — but not every image is meant to be neat or tidy. Real stories rarely are. If you’ve seen my work on Instagram, you’ve already seen the way I create — emotionally led, art-forward, and poetic in tone. That same intention carries through in every client session. This is something to be fully aware of before you book — because I create stories first, and images second.

The Session.

This is where we exhale. The session itself is slow, gentle, and deeply connective. I’ll offer light direction when needed, but more than anything, I’m holding space — for you, for your children, for whatever unfolds. We’re not chasing perfection here. We’re catching truth. And it’s always there, just beneath the surface. While every session has an allotted timeframe, there’s no hard structure. Some sessions move quickly — we might create everything we need in 45 minutes. Others take longer, especially when children need breaks, space, or time to settle in. I always strive to capture the moment — not just the first one, but the second, softer one that follows. The one that lives beneath the surface smile. I follow your rhythm, your children’s rhythm, and the energy that naturally reveals itself. Nothing is forced. The session becomes what it needs to be.

The Legacy.

This is where the story becomes a keepsake — something tangible, lasting. Whether you choose digital files, a short film, or heirloom prints, the images we create together are meant to be held, revisited, and passed on. One day, long from now, your children will go searching for pieces of you — for memories, for proof that you were here in all your softness and strength. What will they find?

Leave a legacy behind, like a tree planted in the shade you’ll never sit under. These images — of you, of your children, of the bond between you — will become some of the most precious and valued gifts a mother could ever leave behind.

The Letter.

It always begins with a message — a quiet yes, a small pull. When you reach out, I’ll write back. I’ll want to know a little more about why you’re drawn to this experience. Is it a particular season you’re in? A milestone? Or maybe something in my work resonated with you in a way you can’t quite explain yet — and that’s okay too. When I respond, I’ll likely ask a few gentle questions to understand where you are and what you’re hoping for. If I have availability, and it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule a phone conversation — not a consultation, but a real conversation. This is where we get to know each other a little, and I’ll walk you through what it’s like to work with me: what to expect, how we’ll approach your session, and what kind of story we might create. It’s less about the logistics (though we’ll cover those too), and more about connection — seeing if this is something we both want to create together.

The Vision.

Once you’ve booked, we begin shaping the story together. I’ll guide you through the creative process — everything from wardrobe to location to the emotional tone of the session. Every session is loosely themed but deeply personal, designed to hold meaning and mood. When it comes to location, it’s never chosen just for convenience. Instead, it’s selected to support the vision we’re building — the light, the texture, the feeling. Of course, I always take accessibility and comfort into account, but art leads the way. Most often, I’ll choose an outdoor setting unless weather or season doesn’t allow. Wardrobe is also something we curate with intention. We can work with pieces you already have or find something specifically for the session that can be returned afterward — this helps minimize costs while ensuring that the visual narrative holds together beautifully. The vision we build is a gentle framework — just enough structure to let the real, honest moments breathe.

 What they are saying

Read The FAQs Below

  • Because every session is artfully and intentionally crafted, I ask that you reach out at least two to three weeks in advance — more if possible. This allows time for us to plan, style, and shape your story with the care it deserves. When booking, you’ll also be asked to reserve a second backup date, just in case we need to reschedule due to weather, little ones needing rest, or life simply unfolding as it does.

  • Location is never chosen simply for convenience — it’s selected with purpose, to support the feeling and story we’re creating together. Light, texture, atmosphere — these guide the way. Most often, I’ll choose an outdoor setting unless the weather or season calls for something else. In those cases, we’ll shift to an indoor space or studio that aligns with the vision — always aiming for locations that don’t require additional fees. Accessibility and comfort are always considered, but above all, the art leads.

  • Every story begins with you. The concept is a collaboration — shaped by your why, your season of life, and the emotion you want to hold onto. We’ll talk through your vision, the details you feel drawn to, and the kind of story you want to tell. From there, I’ll begin to shape it — transmuting your words and memories into an artful visual narrative. I’ll hold onto the core of what matters most to you, and build a session around it that feels honest, beautiful, and deeply personal.

  • I believe in keeping things natural and true to you. Most hair and makeup looks can be done on your own — nothing overly styled or polished is needed for the kind of storytelling we create. That said, if you feel more comfortable having help, I have a small list of trusted artists I can connect you with. Their services are not included in the session fee, but I’m happy to make the introduction.

As for wardrobe, we curate that together with care and intention. We can work with pieces you already own or source something specifically for your session that can be returned afterward — helping to keep costs down while preserving the mood and aesthetic of the story. Nothing is rigid or overly styled; the goal is always to support the emotion and honesty of the moment.

  • Absolutely, sessions can be canceled or rescheduled. It's important to note, though, that if a session is canceled, the deposit made at booking is non-refundable. Understanding that life's events can be unforeseen, I aim to be as accommodating as possible. That's why, upon booking, we'll set both a primary session date and a backup date. This ensures flexibility while also helping with smooth scheduling for all my clients. I appreciate as much notice as you can provide for any changes. Our agreement will detail specific policies on cancellations and rescheduling to maintain clarity and fairness for everyone involved.

  • While sessions don't necessarily need to be overly elaborate, the magic often lies in the thoughtful selection of wardrobe and the use of dramatic scenery. These elements are crucial in setting the ambiance and weaving the narrative of your story. By carefully curating these details, we create a backdrop that speaks volumes, allowing you to simply be your authentic and natural self in front of the camera. There's no need for forced poses or exaggerated expressions; the chosen attire and setting do the storytelling for you, highlighting your unique essence. This approach ensures that every photograph captures a genuine piece of your story, with you at the heart of it all, comfortably and effortlessly being yourself.
